Honestly, this book is disappointing. I thought if the author and the main character share the same profession, it will definitely add some credibility to the story, but it’s not the case for the book. After 1/3 through the book, I have already guessed the killer. Although in the end, the killer is not who I thought was, the thrill part had been gone. It wouldn't have made any difference to the story.

To release my creativity, I’m thinking if the author can use hypnotizing in the plot, it might bring more thrills. I’m not talking about the killer being hypnotized to kill, that kind of cliché, but just to add some uncertainty to the level of suspense. There was a moment when I read the story, I thought the stalker was actually the husband! Well, now, to think back on the plot, my arrangement seems more dramatic.

To sum up, I don’t recommend this book. It’s probably just not my cup of tea.
